While signing up for ALERT BOWIE is free of charge, your wireless carrier may charge you a fee to receive text messages. Please check the FAQ link (left column) and your wireless service agreement to review your carrier's pricing scheme.
The City of Bowie reserves the right to restrict at any time the usage of this alert system to City/County residents and commuters.
